Jonas Sohn
Skating Street

Jonas has been skating for about seven years. Ever since he got a skateboard from a friend, on the same street, who happened to have two. Today he competes in skating 'street'. Meaning you put up obstacles, like boxes and things as such, to then get a certain amount of points depending on how good you manage tricking yourself around these obstacles.
"I don't know… I can't say that," Jonas objects as I ask him what's the hardest trick he's done, while his friends eagerly assist with alternatives. But Jonas sticks to his opinion:
"You learn new things all the time. It's hard to say."
I ask if Stockholm is a good place to skate at.
"Well, there's a lot of skaters and it's a big place," Jonas says. "But there's not many places to skate at. This is the best place, but it's usually filled with water. Otherwise we skate on Sveavägen or in Vreten. It's a small industrial place outside of town.
"And during the winters there's always the skate-park at Fryshuset," Jonas adds.
